General settings

  • System email: Here you can set the email address used for system messages, this needs to be an email address from the same domain as your website so your messages wont be considered spam.
  • SMTP server: The name of your SMTP server, most of the time this value is localhost.
  • Loginkey: The loginkey for your website.

Authentication is required to change these options.

Database settings

  • Mysql server: url of your Mysql server.
  • Login: login for your Mysql server.
  • Password: password for your Mysql server.
  • Name database: name of the database on your Mysql server.

Website status

  • Status: set the site's status to online or offline.
  • Browser title: This is the browser title used in case the site's status is set to offline.
  • Code offline page: The code for the offline page.

Splashscreen

  • Use splashscreen: Check this option if you want to use a splashscreen.
  • Browser title: Set the browser title for the splashscreen.
  • Code splashscreen: The content of the splashscreen.

Settings main user (superadmin)

  • Login: The new login for the superadmin, if you leave this field empty it will stay the same.
  • Email: The email address for the superadmin.
  • New password: New password for the superadmin, if you leave this field empty it will stay the same.
  • Repeat password: Repeat password to be sure.

Languages

  • Languages for the website: Here you can set the main language and the text with which they link. You can alter the order in which the links appear and remove a language if needed. The main language can not be removed untill another language is set to main.
  • Add language: The amount of languages you can activate depends of your license.
  • System language: This is the language in which the MyCMS™ backend will be displayed. For the moment English, Dutch and French are supported.

License

  • License key: This key shouldn't be altered unless it is necessary. MyCMS™ won't work with an invalid license key.

Texteditor

  • Texteditor: Select the texteditor you want to use. You can choose between "TinyMCE", "Innovastudio" and "Xinha".
