Settings

Standard settings

  • Name: With this option you got the possibility to edit the forms name. This can be very helpfull when you for example need to retrieve form-data or want to set back a deleted form. If not edited, the name of the form will be the block or box's number, which can be very confusing if many forms are used on your site.
  • Text invalid data: This is the text shown to the user if the form couldn't be sent.
  • Text submit: This the text mentionned on the submit-button.
  • Email to: Here you can fill in the email adresse whereto the form-data should be sent.
  • Subject email: This is the title used for the email.
  • Text sent: This is the text shown after your form was sent succesfully.
  • Text back: This is the text used for the link that redirects you back to the form after it was sent succesfully.

Autoreply settings

  • Autoreply: Check this option to activate the autoreply function. Remark that your form must have an input field for the visitor's "email" in order to work.
  • Reply email: Set the email address to reply to. Multiple inputs should be separated by a ";".
  • Reply from name: Here you can fill in the name that the addressees will see in the "email from:".
  • Email in html: Check this option if your email contains html-code, this will prevent that the html-tags would be visible as well.
  • Reply subject: Fill in the subject of the email.
  • Reply message: Set the message that has to be sent to the addressees.

Advanced settings

  • Published: Decide by (un)checking this option if the form should be published or not. If needed you can select the duration of the forms publication. To do so you got to select a date in the From / Till input fields. A single click in one of those fields will trigger the datepicker.
  • Action form: This option can be set if the form data has to be processed by an external actionscript.
  • Use GET: This should be used in combination with the "Action form" setting in order to pass by the form-data. Remark that this should be avoided if the form-data contains critical information.
  • Text not sent: Here you can set the message shown to the user when the form couldn't be sent.
  • Cc email to: If you want the form-data to be sent to other persons then the one set in the "email to" option in the "Standard settings" you should fill in their e-mail address in this input field. Multiple entries have to be separated by a ";".
  • Bcc email to: This option acts in the same way as Cc with one important difference, the Bcc-addressees won't see the complete list of the Bcc-addressees. Only the email address of the original addressee set in the "email to" option in the "Standard settings" will be displayed.
  • Maximum filesize: The value in this field represents the maximum filesize expressed in bytes.
    (1.048.576 bytes = 1 megabyte)
  • Save in DB: This option should be checked in order to save the form-data. Check the "Save form-data to database" movie for more details.
  • Css class: The reference entered in this input field, allows you to edit the Css from that specific block. To edit the Css go to the Controlpanel and select the "Files" option listed under the "Theme" features.
